The Wedding of Solumina and Verdona
About the Couple
The beginnings of Temera are inextricably linked to the births of the Oktalum.
Pax had created her home on Mount Dolomon, and the Wellspring erupted in energy. Pax did not know that this would create more than just her home though. The wild realm of fae and flowers, Seádolas, spilled down one side of the mountain, and with it, the Moonspinner, Verdona. While the shadow lands of Agartha fell upon the other side of the mountain, its dark reflection of the prime material plane corrupting all who venture, the Wellspring’s light itself burned hot and brought the Sunbringer, Solumina. The two new goddesses lay at Pax’s feet, and the Mistress of Death took the two under her wing, wanting to shield them from Totalus’s influence. Verdona and Solumina grew close quickly under Pax’s guidance. Verdona found herself drawn to the verdant flora and wild fauna within Seádolas, while the bright aurora of the Wellspring entranced Solumina. Thus, Verdona became the goddess of the Wilds, while Solumina became the goddess of Light.
