The ruler of the Oktalum pantheon, Pax is the goddess of death. She is enigmatic, yet fair and just. She guards the Aether between life and death, granting passage to those who have fulfilled their destinies. She despises undeath and those who cheat their destinies, punishing those who evade her, but to those who accept death as a natural part of life, she rewards them with peace everlasting in Viluthaa, the Valley of the Dead.
Other Names and Titles: Mistress of Death, Queen of the Gods, Lady Destiny
Totalus is the god of mortality and necessity in the Oktalum pantheon. He is the cause for all facets of life that cause pain. He is the sorrow of loss, the emptiness of hunger, the misery of hatred, the corruption of envy. He loves suffering enough to bring life through undeath, just so it may suffer again. He ushers the suffering of the living from the hellish wastes of Agartha.
Other Names and Titles: The Deceiving One, The Eternal Torment
Verdona is the goddess of nature, love and fertility, the night, and the hunt within the Oktalum pantheon. She is a very patient goddess, exemplified in the hundreds of years it takes for her trees to grow and for environments to shift. She counteracts her wife Verdona’s brashness and impulsiveness with her calming presence.
Other Names and Titles: The Huntress, Warden of the Forest, Moonspinner
The Oktalum's goddess of fire, light, the day, and the mother of the dragons, Solumina is quick to action and impatient, balancing out her much calmer wife, Verdona. She birthed the Ten Divine Dragons of Temera, granting each of them elemental power.
The first divine dragon of Temera and the first metallic dragon, borne of Solumina's desperation against the tarrasque colony. A dragon of gold scales and fiery breath, he protects all Sentients.
The second divine dragon of Temera and the second metallic dragon, borne of Solumina's appreciation of Grixis. A dragon of silver scales and icy breath, she is more reclusive than her older brother and so protects Temera through more political means.
The third divine dragon of Temera, the third metallic dragon, and the elder twin of Britor. A dragon of bronze scales and lightning breath, he has found home in the mountainous regions among the dwarven forges and gnomish tinkerers, finding their mechanical wonders inspiring.
The fourth divine dragon of Temera, the fourth metallic dragon, and the younger twin of Boz'nor. A dragon of brass scales and fiery breath, he has found home in the many settlements of Sentient civilizations, asking their stories and songs for his hoard in lieu of material wealth.
The fifth divine dragon of Temera and the last metallic dragon. A dragon of copper scales and acidic breath, he has found home along the coasts of the Aganacht and Discimian Oceans. He finds pleasure in taking the form of a fisherman and befriending voyagers at sea.
The sixth divine dragon of Temera and the first chromatic dragon, borne of Sildaxl's first heartbreak. A dragon of white scales and icy breath, she fiercely protects her frozen wastes and takes tribute from those deemed worthy enough to be her worshippers.
